Hello my lovely writing nerds,
I recently went to the AWG Writers & Illustrators Conference as an author and a freelance editor. It was a fun time! On the author side of things, I learned quite a bit and chatted with folks about my new book Sunkissed Feathers & Severed Ties. (Coming out in NOVEMBER, by the way, TWO MONTHS.)
On the editor side of things, I donated a 50-page manuscript edit for the silent auction like I usually do and ACTUALLY GOT TO MEET THE AUTHOR - a woman named L. C. Elliot - who won it. Pretty cool. I'm so looking forward to working with her.
Now, off to explore the mysteries of a good Pop-Tart, because this gal needs a snack before bed.
