Hey guys!
So, because of a car accident and some other life stuff, I completely forgot to announce that Sy Itha earned a 2017 Golden Crown Literary Award for Science Fiction and Fantasy for their debut novel The Broken Coil. I'm so happy for them, and it's such an honor to work with such amazing authors. This book was a fun one to edit, and I'm proud to see it so do so well out in the world.
While Desert Palm Press books have been nominated before, none have won a Goldie award until now! It's so important for our little press to get such an amazing burst of recognition, and I couldn't be happier for my DPP family.
Congrats, Sy, and I look forward to working with you for many years to come!
